Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments against documentation.
- Store materials in appropriate locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely.
- Pick items accurately based on order requirements and prepare them for shipment.
- Stage finished orders for loading onto transport vehicles.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Ensure the correct use of PPE at all times.
- Participate in shipping and receiving activities as directed.
- Support overall logistics and warehouse efficiency through diligent work.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 60 lbs.
- Knowledge of safe material handling techniques and warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with basic inventory control and logistics processes.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
