We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This is a crucial role in our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. You will work closely with inventory management systems to track picked items and maintain order accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong organizational skills. A commitment to safety protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent bending, stooping, and lifting. We value teamwork and a positive attitude. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using order lists or scanners.
- Verify product information and quantities against order requirements.
- Pack items securely and safely for shipment.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Participate in inventory counts and checks as required.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the warehouse supervisor immediately.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and the use of PPE.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics flow.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, including stocking and receiving.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
