In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment to manage the movement of goods within our warehouse. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Operating various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Safely loading and unloading incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transporting inventory to and from storage locations and production areas.
- Conducting daily pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory movements and storage locations.
- Strictly adhering to all company **Safety** regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Assisting with **Lifting** and handling of items as needed, ensuring proper techniques are employed.
- Wearing all required **PPE**, including safety vests and footwear.
The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift operator certification and demonstrated experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
