Join our growing logistics team in Omaha, Nebraska, as an Order Picker! We are looking for dedicated individuals who can accurately and efficiently retrieve products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your role is essential in ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. This fast-paced position requires focus, organization, and the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals. You will be responsible for using picking equipment, verifying item quantities, and preparing orders for the next stage of the fulfillment process. Safety is our top priority, and we expect all team members to adhere to our stringent guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order tickets.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Operate pallet jacks and other picking equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse or logistics experience, especially in order picking, is preferred but not required. Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 40 pounds) and stand for extended periods is necessary. Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus. A commitment to workplace safety and understanding the importance of PPE is essential. Good communication skills and a proactive attitude are valued. This role is a crucial part of our logistics network, directly impacting our ability to serve customers effectively.
