We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. Your primary duties will include receiving, identifying, stocking, and preparing materials for distribution. This position is crucial to our supply chain operations and requires a strong commitment to accuracy and timeliness. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to maintain inventory levels, fulfill orders, and ensure a smooth workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Moving materials from receiving to storage areas.
- Accurately identifying and scanning inventory.
- Operating pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Assisting with inventory counts and audits.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Performing other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred. Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, is essential. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and able to stand for extended periods. A strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and proper use of PPE is required. Excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude are a must. This role is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring that all materials are handled with care and efficiency.
