We are seeking a reliable Shipping Clerk for our Orlando, Florida location. This position is critical to the efficient functioning of our Logistics department, ensuring that all outgoing shipments are accurately prepared and dispatched. If you have experience with shipping procedures, possess excellent organizational skills, and are committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and Safety, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Process all outgoing shipments, including preparing labels and necessary documentation.
- Verify order details and shipping addresses for accuracy.
- Coordinate with freight carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Track shipments and maintain accurate records of all outgoing goods.
- Inspect packages to ensure proper packing and condition before dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management regarding shipping status.
- Adhere to all company policies and Safety protocols.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar Logistics role.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and basic computer applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Capability for occasional Lifting of packages.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
