Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Portland, Oregon? We are seeking skilled professionals to operate forklifts and other machinery safely and efficiently within our bustling logistics hub. This role is critical to maintaining the flow of goods, ensuring inventory is moved accurately and timely. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and productively.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Move and stack inventory within the warehouse.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas.
- Perform pre-operational checks on equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics.
- Ability to perform Lifting of heavy items.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Strong understanding of Safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills.
