Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers with incoming and outgoing materials.
- Transport inventory and supplies to designated storage areas or production lines.
- Stage materials for order fulfillment and shipping processes.
- Conduct daily inspections and basic maintenance of material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, free from obstructions and hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage and safe Lifting techniques.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as directed by supervisors.
- Support the logistics team in achieving operational goals and maintaining efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler, preferably with forklift operation.
- Valid forklift certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform significant physical work, including frequent Lifting of up to 70 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
