We are seeking a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to oversee operations at our Los Angeles, California facility. This pivotal role ensures the smooth and efficient functioning of our warehouse, managing everything from inventory flow to staff coordination. You will be responsible for optimizing warehouse layouts, implementing efficient logistics processes, and ensuring that all operations adhere to safety regulations. Your duties will include supervising warehouse staff, managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and troubleshooting any operational issues that arise. A strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles is essential. You will play a key role in ensuring a safe working environment for all staff, enforcing PPE compliance and conducting regular safety checks. This position requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping.
- Manage and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance goals.
- Implement and maintain efficient logistics and inventory control procedures.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and records within the WMS.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with carriers and internal teams.
- Enforce all safety regulations, including mandatory PPE usage, and conduct safety audits.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize disruptions.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Train new warehouse staff on procedures and safety protocols.
- Generate regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and key metrics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role.
- Proficiency with WMS software and other relevant warehouse technologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics operations, inventory control, and safety best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience with lifting and operating various warehouse equipment is a plus.
