Your role as a Picker/Packer directly impacts customer satisfaction, making accuracy and efficiency paramount. You will be expected to meet production targets and maintain a high level of quality in your work. Familiarity with RF scanning technology is beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Inspect picked items for quality and damage.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Use appropriate packing materials and dunnage.
- Operate packing equipment such as tape machines and label printers.
- Verify order details before shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station.
- Adhere to all PPE requirements and safety guidelines.
- Meet established picking and packing productivity goals.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Basic understanding of logistics and shipping procedures.
Requirements:
- Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety glasses and gloves.
