We are seeking a skilled Material Handler for our San Francisco, California facility. This position is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse, involving the movement, storage, and organization of materials. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other machinery to transport goods, ensuring that materials are correctly stored and readily available. Your efficiency and attention to detail are critical for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting our overall Logistics operations. Safety is our top priority; you will be trained on and expected to adhere to all Safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE. This role requires considerable physical exertion, including frequent Lifting of heavy items, so a strong physical capacity is a must. Experience with various types of warehouse equipment and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment are essential. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move and stack materials within the warehouse.
- Organize and maintain inventory stock.
- Perform pre-operation checks on equipment.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of materials.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Support Logistics team with material flow.
