Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead our operations in Madison, Wisconsin. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing a team of warehouse associates, and ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and accuracy. This is a critical leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of warehouse logistics. You will play a key part in optimizing workflows, maintaining inventory integrity, and fostering a culture of safety and productivity. We are looking for a leader who can motivate their team and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage inventory control, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, ensuring proper operation and maintenance schedules.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE and safe Lifting practices.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and team meetings to reinforce safety awareness.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports on warehouse operations.
  • Resolve operational issues and discrepancies promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics and supply chain management.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
  • Proven experience in managing warehouse staff and operations.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and enforce safety protocols, including PPE usage and safe Lifting techniques.
  • Proficiency in logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with forklift operation and other warehouse equipment.
