Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Seattle, Washington. This role is crucial for the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring the smooth flow of goods from receiving to dispatch. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, organizing, and preparing materials for shipment. Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading materials from trucks and containers.
  • Operating manual and powered equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Moving materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
  • Verifying the accuracy of received and shipped goods.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Performing inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and PPE.
  • Assisting with other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds, on a regular basis.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation, including forklifts, is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and the importance of wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
