We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Seattle, Washington. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, organizing, and preparing materials for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks and containers.
- Operating manual and powered equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Moving materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Verifying the accuracy of received and shipped goods.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Performing inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and PPE.
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds, on a regular basis.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation, including forklifts, is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and the importance of wearing appropriate PPE.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
