Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Des Moines, Iowa. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring that inventory is managed efficiently and accurately. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect incoming inventory, verifying quantities and checking for damage.
  • Accurately stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment.
  • Pick and pack customer orders with precision, ensuring correct items and quantities are selected.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging packages.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially regarding safety and handling of goods.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
  • Must be comfortable with Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must wear provided PPE , including safety shoes and vests.
  • Commitment to workplace Safety is paramount.
