We are hiring an Order Picker for our busy distribution center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. You will be responsible for retrieving products from warehouse shelves, preparing them for shipment, and maintaining a high level of accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment. Your dedication to safety and operational excellence will be key to your success and the overall efficiency of our warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order forms or system data.
- Verify the correct product and quantity for each order.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipping.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
- Assist with inventory management and stock checks.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Capacity to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control principles.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety procedures and use required PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
