Are you a proven leader with a passion for warehouse operations? Our facility in Durham, North Carolina is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our daily activities. This leadership position is essential for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and safe operation of our warehouse. You will lead a team of warehouse associates, manage workflow, and implement best practices in Logistics and inventory management. Your ability to motivate a team and drive results will be paramount to our success.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide a team of warehouse associates, providing training and performance feedback.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and Safety regulations.
- Implement and enforce proper handling and storage of materials to minimize damage and loss.
- Monitor workflow and adjust staffing and resources to meet operational demands.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure all team members are using appropriate PPE .
- Manage inventory levels and participate in cycle counting initiatives.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless Logistics operations.
- Resolve operational issues and employee concerns promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and Logistics .
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to manage physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of heavy items up to 60 pounds.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety and experience with OSHA standards.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
