We are seeking a diligent and organized Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the outbound flow of goods, ensuring that all shipments are accurately processed, documented, and dispatched. Your contribution is vital to maintaining our reputation for timely and reliable delivery. You will prepare shipping labels, coordinate with carriers, and maintain detailed shipping records. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and print shipping labels and documentation.
- Verify order accuracy before shipment.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
- Track shipments and provide updates to relevant parties.
- Ensure all packages are properly sealed and secured.
- Adhere to all Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
- Previous experience as a shipping clerk or in a related administrative role.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and office equipment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with logistics and shipping processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as Lifting occasionally.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification is a plus.
- A commitment to Safety in the workplace.
