Join our dynamic logistics team as an Inventory Control Specialist in Provo, Utah! We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. This role is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for cycle counting, reconciling discrepancies, maintaining inventory records, and implementing best practices for inventory management. This includes working closely with receiving, shipping, and order fulfillment departments to resolve any stock-related issues. A key aspect of this position involves utilizing our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track stock movements and perform audits. You will also assist in identifying slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommending actions to manage it effectively. Strong analytical skills and a meticulous approach are essential. We are committed to providing a safe work environment and expect all team members to adhere to strict safety protocols. This includes the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. The ability to handle moderate Lifting is also required, as you may need to move stock for counting and verification purposes. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless inventory flow.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
- Ensure adherence to all Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Properly use required PPE for all tasks.
- Assist with tasks involving Lifting of inventory as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in WMS software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
