We are looking for a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Kansas City, Missouri. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in a variety of tasks that keep our logistics moving smoothly. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory for damage and accuracy.
- Store goods in designated areas, maintaining an organized and accessible inventory.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision.
- Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling of all merchandise.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and housekeeping standards.
- Utilize technology systems for inventory tracking and order management.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in regular inventory counts and assist in resolving discrepancies.
- Support the overall logistics and fulfillment process by performing assigned duties diligently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate various types of warehouse equipment, with forklift certification being a plus.
- Physical capability to perform demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the importance of using PPE.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
