We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role is vital for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, ensuring smooth logistics operations and minimizing discrepancies. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory variances, and implementing strategies to improve inventory accuracy. You will work with the warehouse management system (WMS) to track stock levels, manage stock locations, and ensure all inventory movements are accurately recorded. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency in data analysis. You will also collaborate with other departments, including operations and receiving, to address inventory-related issues and optimize stock flow. Adherence to all Safety regulations and proper use of PPE is mandatory to ensure a safe working environment. While direct physical labor is not the primary focus, occasional Lifting of up to 25 lbs may be required during inventory checks or relocations. Experience with WMS software, advanced Excel skills, and a background in logistics or supply chain management are highly desirable.
