This position requires attention to detail, speed, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. You will utilize scanning devices to track inventory movement and ensure accuracy in order fulfillment. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is crucial. We emphasize a strong culture of safety, and all employees are expected to adhere to safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE. This role involves considerable standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order slips.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Utilize handheld scanners to track inventory and update order status.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Meet productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory as needed.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage.
- Participate in inventory counts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order pick lists.
- Basic math skills for verifying quantities.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of occasional lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
