Essential Duties
Crane Estimating is a division of Ace Industries Manufacturing dedicated to the execution of high-profile projects, customized engineering, and concierge customer service.
• Reviews project request for quotation, specifications, bid drawings, etc.
• Consults with salesperson and project management to ensure project being quoted meets customer specifications.
• Arrange internal kickoff meetings when required.
• Communicates with product vendors to ensure accurate pricing on estimates.
• Works within a project/quotation timeframe.
• Manage and organize quotes for easy review and access.

Qualifications required for position
• 4-year college degree, Associates Degree, High-School Diploma or GED
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Strong Organizational Skills required.
• Analytical and Detail Oriented
• Able to review Bid Drawings and Takeoffs
• Team Player
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to work independently and under direction of others.
• Experience with manufacturing and/or equipment fabrication is a plus.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is required, particularly with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word. NetSuite by Oracle experience is a plus.
