HVAC Mechanical Project Manager

Job Description

We are hiring a salary position for HVAC Mechanical Project Manager to manage HVAC and mechanical piping projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for scheduling, budgeting, coordinating field crews and subcontractors, and overall project execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage HVAC and mechanical piping projects from pre-construction through closeout
• Develop and track project schedules
• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Prepare and review HVAC and mechanical piping drawings, specifications, and submittals
• Handle RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
• Monitor job costs and project performance
• Attend project meetings and communicate with clients
• Ensure work is completed safely and in compliance with codes and company standards
• Manage and adhere to project budgets
• Closely monitor labor costs daily, weekly, and monthly
• Order equipment deliveries and handle warranty and closeout documents

Requirements

• 5+ years of HVAC and/or mechanical piping project management experience
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and mechanical piping systems
• Ability to read and understand HVAC and mechanical piping drawings
• Solid organizational and communication skills
• Experience with project management software and Microsoft office
• Valid driver’s license
• OSHA 30 certification
• Knowledgeable in notice to owners and notice of non-payments
