Contract Software Engineer

We’re looking for a skilled Contract Software Engineer to join our fully remote team. You’ll work hands‑on across the stack using Next.js, Node.js, .NET/C#, and TypeScript to build performant, secure, and scalable web applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real‑world problems with modern technologies and collaborating closely with product and design teams.

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack applications using Next.js, Node.js, .NET/C#, and TypeScript
  
• Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces for customer‑facing eCommerce platforms
  
• Implement backend services and APIs using REST and GraphQL
  
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code using frameworks such as Jest, xUnit, or NUnit
  
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability
  
• Integrate with third‑party platforms and services
  
• Work with cloud‑native components including Azure Functions, Service Bus, and event‑driven architecture
  
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and sprint planning
  
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows and automated testing and deployment pipelines
  
• Participate in the team’s on‑call support rota, with coverage mostly focused on daytime hours
  

• 
  
• 5+ years of professional experience in full‑stack development
  
• Solid experience with Next.js, React.js, and Node. xcfaprz js
  
• Backend development experience with .NET/C#
  
• Experience with Azure, including Functions, Service Bus, and Cosmos DB
  
• Familiarity with SQL (MSSQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
  
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and asynchronous data flows
  
• Comfortable working with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
  
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills

• Experience with eCommerce platforms
  
• Familiarity with CMS integration and SEO best practices
  
• Experience with rendering strategies in Next.js (CSR, SSR, ISR, SSG)
  
• Exposure to Agile development and DevOps practices
