Senior Practice Accountant

Our client is an expanding and forward-thinking practice located in Dublin. They are currently in search of a Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal Senior Accountant should possess experience in Management Accounting. This represents an exciting and fresh opportunity within the firm, and it calls for a proactive, self-driven individual with exceptional organizational and technical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts and year-end statutory accounts that are not audited.
• Assist clients in establishing financial control systems and ensure compliance with company secretarial requirements.
• Provide guidance to clients in adopting best practices through technology to enhance efficiency and facilitate growth.
• Gain proficiency in various accounting software programs (Surf, Receipt Bank, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) to recommend suitable packages and tools to clients.
• Contribute to the firm’s accounting technology strategy and oversee the implementation of new accounting solutions.
• Manage internal administrative tasks, including timesheets and invoicing.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA/CPA Qualified Accountant or Accounting Technician.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant post-qualification experience with a strong background in management accounting and technology.
• Familiarity with accounting software packages such as Relate, MicroPay, Surf, Receipt Bank, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar.
