Our client is a global, market-leading professional services firm with a well-established Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice. The firm advises leading financial services organisations, supporting them through complex accounting, regulatory and finance transformation challenges. Due to continued growth within its Financial Services advisory offering, the firm is now seeking an Assistant Manager to join the team in Limerick.

Who should apply?
This role will suit ambitious professionals looking to take the next step in their career within a funds-focused advisory environment:
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent preferred)
- 3+ years’ experience in audit, fund accounting or financial services advisory
- Strong exposure to funds structures such as UCITS, ICAVs, private equity, hedge funds, SPVs or similar
- Solid understanding of technical accounting and/or regulatory reporting within asset management
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with senior stakeholders
Role and Reporting Lines
Reporting to a Manager / Senior Manager within the Financial Services FAAS team, this role will involve:
- Advisory Delivery – Supporting funds and asset management clients on accounting and regulatory matters
- Technical Accounting – Researching and resolving complex accounting and reporting issues xcfaprz
- Funds Expertise – Advising on NAV processes, fund accounting models and financial reporting
- Change Projects – Assisting with accounting standards implementation, GAAP conversions and regulatory change
- Engagement Management – Supporting the planning and delivery of multiple advisory engagements
- Stakeholder Interaction – Acting as a key point of contact with client finance teams
- Team Development – Coaching and reviewing the work of junior team members
