Location: Mount Royal, (Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Lease Management Administrator to join a high-performing team in a dynamic retail environment. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of approximately 200–250 leases and play a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, cost control, and operational efficiency across the organization’s lease portfolio.
This role requires strong analytical capabilities, solid legal and maintenance knowledge, and the ability to negotiate effectively to support cost savings initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Abstract and interpret key clauses from leases for all existing and new store locations.
- Update the leasing system to reflect new rental structures, amendments, and lease modifications.
- Review and process year-end adjustments, tenant chargebacks (water, hydro, etc.), and annual occupancy cost reconciliations.
- Partner with the maintenance team to determine landlord and tenant responsibilities.
- Analyze financial data related to occupancy costs and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Process ad hoc requests from the Director, Legal, and Finance teams.
- Support negotiations and identify opportunities to reduce costs across the lease portfolio.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Lease Administration, preferably within a retail environment.
- Experience managing a high-volume lease portfolio (200+ leases preferred).
- Strong understanding of lease agreements, legal clauses, and maintenance responsibilities.
- Strong financial acumen, including proficiency with accounting statements, spreadsheets, and audit principles.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Experience working with SAP is considered an asset.
- Fully bilingual (French and English – verbal and written).
