Lakeland Catholic School Division

Lakeland Catholic School Division is seeking reliable Casual Custodians to provide on-call, temporary coverage at Light of Christ Catholic School in Lac La Biche . These casual, on-call positions are essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors when regular custodial staff are absent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces

• Empty garbage bins and replace liners

• Clean and disinfect restrooms and restock supplies as needed

• Wash windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces

• Maintain cleanliness in hallways, entrances, and shared spaces

• Operate cleaning equipment safely and follow guidelines for chemical use

• Report any required repairs or maintenance

• Follow safety procedures to maintain a secure working environment

Qualifications & Skills:

• Basic facility maintenance skills (e.g., changing light bulbs, minor plumbing tasks)

• Experience with or knowledge of commercial cleaning practices

• Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness

• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently

• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and extended periods of standing or walking
