As part of our Customer Service Team, you will support customers and help them succeed in their projects and business. You are a strong communicator who builds trust and contributes to our reputation for reliable, high-quality support before, during, and after each sale.
Reporting to the Sales Support Specialist Manager and supported by a dedicated team of customer care professionals, the Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for:
- Providing prompt, accurate, and courteous support to customers
- Processing order entry and reverse entry transactions
- Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and timely manner
- Answering questions related to shipping, pricing, and product specifications
- Identifying customer needs and recommending suitable lighting solutions
- Collaborating with Sales, Warehouse, and Production teams to meet project requirements
- Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction at the completion of each transaction
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in customer service or a related field
- Post-secondary education preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with ERP or inventory management systems is an asset
- Strong multitasking skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable managing change
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across phone, email, and online platforms
- Curious and eager to learn, with an interest in lighting technology and applications
- Strong relationship-building and problem-solving abilities
- Positive team attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to prioritize effectively
