About the opportunity:

The Product Development Intern will be a member of the R&D Team. They will provide technical and analytical support to the R&D product development team members.



The attributes we are looking for:

  • Support in the execution of required laboratory and/or production experiments in the development of new products and/or product renovations and, conducting experiments and support sampling plan.
  • Conduct bench-top experiments and/or analysis to support processing and formula commissioning at full-scale manufacturing, which includes scale-up of prototypes and subsequent trials to support introduction of new products and /or product renovations.
  • Prepare and document raw ingredients and formulations specifications for the purpose of maintaining accurate records and to ensure compliance with Company standards.
  • Responsible to ensure Quality is fundamental in execution of all work activities



What you will bring:

  • Currently pursuing a post-secondary education in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field of study.
  • Strong knowledge in the discipline of food science and/or chemistry, microbiology, engineering
  • Strong written/oral interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external sources
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively handle multiple projects and the assignments of priorities within the defined project area
  • Creative problem solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Office 365 platforms; advanced Excel knowledge is preferred

Compensation:

As part of our commitment to fairness, trust, and transparency and our ambition to be an Employer of Choice, the base salary range for this position is $21/h – $24+/h.


Please note: Along with a comprehensive Total Rewards package, your actual base salary will be fair, competitive, and be based on your skills, experience, and qualifications.
