About the Role
We are inviting a senior Business Litigation Lawyer to join our group to support and strengthen a busy commercial litigation practice. This role is well suited to a lawyer who wants exposure to high-quality work, increasing responsibility, and a clear path for professional development within a litigation-focused firm. You will be given meaningful responsibility on files while working alongside experienced litigators in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Handle complex commercial litigation matters, including all manner of contract disputes, shareholder and partnership conflicts, fraud claims, and injunctive relief
- Act for businesses, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals
- Manage files with appropriate supervision and collaboration
- Work with litigators across our offices when it adds value to the file and client
Qualifications
- A lawyer with 7+ years of broad business or commercial litigation experience
Required Skills
- Strong advocacy skills and sound professional judgment
Preferred Skills
- A partial or portable book of business is an asset, but not required
