General Manager | Life Insurance & Financial Planning

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead operations for our Langley-based practice.

In this role, you will have a seat at the management table and contribute to the company's growth strategy. You are the primary link between our sales/administrative staff and the senior management team. Your goal is to manage the day-to-day business so senior leadership can focus on high-level strategy.

The Core Mission

You will oversee the entire \"engine room\" of the firm. You’ll be responsible for managing the team, refining operations, and reporting directly to senior management to ensure the practice hits its goals.

What You’ll Do

• Bridge the Gap: Act as the main point of contact between sales team, admin staff and senior leadership.
• Lead the Team: Manage administrative staff and advisors, ensuring tasks are delegated and advisors are effectively supported.
• Strategy: You will have a seat at the management table and contribute to the company's growth strategy.
• Own the Process: Review workflows and tech systems to keep the office running smoothly.
• Operations & HR: Handle internal personnel needs, from onboarding to performance tracking.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years in an operational leadership role.
• Life Insurance industry experience is required.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on supervisory and coaching.
• Process-driven mindset —you enjoy that sweet spot between people and operations.
• In-office presence at our Langley location.
