Responsibilities:
- Process outgoing shipments, ensuring all orders are accurate and complete.
- Generate and manage shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documentation.
- Verify package contents against order details before dispatch.
- Package items securely and efficiently for transit.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup schedules and tracking information.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
- Communicate with internal teams and customers regarding shipment status updates.
- Assist with loading and unloading of shipments when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
- Support the broader logistics team in achieving operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related logistics role is preferred.
- Proficiency with shipping software and basic computer applications.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with shipping regulations and procedures.
- Capability for light to moderate Lifting as required for package handling.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe working environment.
