Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is vital for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our **Logistics** operations. You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, investigating discrepancies, and implementing procedures to minimize loss and maximize accuracy. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Monitor stock levels and generate reorder reports.
  • Implement and enforce **Safety** protocols related to inventory handling.
  • Track the movement of goods within the facility.
  • Identify and report damaged or obsolete inventory.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure proper stock placement.
  • Collaborate with operations and management teams to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure all **PPE** is used correctly and readily available for staff.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a related **Logistics** role.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and inventory management principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including **Lifting** up to 30 pounds.
  • Knowledge of warehouse **Safety** procedures.
  • Familiarity with **PPE** requirements in a warehouse setting.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving inventory issues.
