Become a vital part of our distribution network! We are seeking reliable and hardworking Distribution Center Associates for our facility in Boston, Massachusetts. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, from receiving and stocking to picking and packing. Your contribution is essential to the efficient flow of goods in our logistics chain, ensuring timely delivery to our customers. Safety and teamwork are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of tasks including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Accurately count, verify, and record inventory, ensuring system data matches physical stock.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all established procedures.
- Comply with all Safety regulations and mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet or exceed productivity targets for various warehouse functions.
- The capacity for consistent Lifting of products weighing up to 50 lbs is frequently required.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth warehouse operations and logistics.
- Identify and report any potential hazards or safety concerns immediately.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and career growth within the logistics industry.
- Assist with special projects or other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks is a significant advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding and adherence to safety protocols, including the importance of PPE.
- Willingness to perform tasks requiring regular lifting.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
