We are seeking a motivated and capable Material Handler to join our warehouse team in St. Louis, Missouri. This role is crucial for the efficient and safe movement of goods throughout our facility. You will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, organizing inventory, and ensuring that all warehouse operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically fit, and committed to maintaining a high standard of workplace Safety . Experience with warehouse equipment and a strong understanding of warehouse processes are vital. As a Material Handler, you will be a key component of our Logistics network, ensuring timely and accurate handling of all products. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload materials from trucks and containers, verifying contents against documentation.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other mechanical equipment safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper stacking and organization.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Inspect materials and equipment for damage, reporting any issues to supervision.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area according to company standards.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and wear required PPE at all times.
- Assist team members with various warehouse tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is required.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is essential.
- Forklift certification is a strong asset.
- Ability to perform tasks involving physical exertion, including standing, walking, bending, and Lifting up to 75 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must be punctual, reliable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
