Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Verify item codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage.
- Transport picked items to designated staging or packing areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Strictly follow all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or product issues to a supervisor.
- Meet established performance metrics for picking speed and accuracy.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stockroom organization.
- Support the efficient execution of overall warehouse logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 45 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate with team members.
- Understanding of warehouse safety principles and the importance of PPE.
- Physical capacity to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- A solid understanding of general logistics operations is beneficial.
