We are hiring a dedicated Shipping Clerk for our busy distribution center in Jacksonville, Florida. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately preparing and dispatching customer orders, ensuring that all shipments meet quality and timeliness standards. Your duties will include verifying order details, selecting appropriate packaging materials, accurately labeling packages, and coordinating with carriers for pickup. You will also be responsible for maintaining shipping documentation and ensuring compliance with all shipping regulations. A meticulous approach to detail and a commitment to Safety are crucial. You will be required to use designated PPE at all times. This role may involve some moderate Lifting and maneuvering of packages. You will be an integral part of our Logistics team, contributing to the efficient movement of goods from our warehouse to customers. Responsibilities include: picking and packing orders accurately, verifying shipment contents against order documents, preparing shipping labels and documentation, coordinating with freight carriers for pickups and deliveries, maintaining organized shipping areas, and assisting with inventory checks as needed.
