Job Summary:
Our Orlando, Florida location is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse inventory. This critical role ensures that our stock levels are precise, enabling smooth operations and efficient logistics. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, investigating stock adjustments, and implementing inventory control procedures. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Manage stock adjustments and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Coordinate with receiving, shipping, and operational teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, accuracy, and movement.
  • Identify and tag damaged or obsolete inventory for disposition.
  • Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and logistics planning through accurate data.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and systems (e.g., WMS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be willing to wear appropriate PPE, such as safety glasses and vests.
