We are hiring Picker/Packers for our Atlanta, Georgia facility! This role is essential for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for locating specific items within our warehouse based on order tickets, carefully picking them, and then packaging them securely for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on pick orders.
- Inspect picked items for quality and quantity.
- Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Verify order details before shipment to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and **safety**-compliant work station.
- Operate RF scanners and other warehouse equipment as directed.
- Adhere to all company **safety** policies and wear mandated **PPE**.
- Assist with **Lifting** of products and boxes, typically up to 35 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our **logistics** operations.
- Report any issues with inventory, equipment, or **safety** to a supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a picker or packer is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret order tickets accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic **logistics** principles.
- Familiarity with **PPE** and general warehouse **safety**.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and **Lifting**.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
