Join our team as a skilled Forklift Operator in Colorado Springs, Colorado! We are looking for experienced individuals who prioritize **safety** and efficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment. You will be responsible for safely moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise within our distribution center. This role requires a keen eye for detail, adherence to strict **safety** guidelines, and the ability to work effectively in a demanding **logistics** environment. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement and **safety**.
- Conduct daily **safety** checks on equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Pick and transport inventory to designated areas for order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement.
- Adhere to all **PPE** requirements, including wearing a **safety** vest and **safety** shoes.
- Assist with general warehouse duties when not operating equipment, including **Lifting** of up to 50 lbs.
- Follow **logistics** procedures for inventory management and storage.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse personnel to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to a culture of **safety** and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating forklifts with valid certification.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and **logistics** principles.
- Ability to perform **Lifting** and physical tasks as needed.
- Strong understanding of **safety** procedures and **PPE** usage.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes physically demanding environment.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
