Our Los Angeles, California distribution center is looking for efficient Order Pickers to join our fast-paced logistics team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role requires precision, speed, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety. Responsibilities:
- Utilize RF scanners and pick lists to locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse inventory.
- Verify product accuracy and quantities before moving to the packing station.
- Transport picked items to the designated staging or packing area.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts as directed.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Meet individual and team productivity goals for order picking.
- Report any discrepancies or issues encountered during the picking process.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels.
- Proficiency in using RF scanning equipment.
- Capable of lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing and walking for long periods.
