You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and stocking. Frequent Lifting will be involved, so a good physical condition is necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Transport materials to and from production areas, storage locations, and shipping docks.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any defects or issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
- Proper use of all required PPE is mandatory.
- Follow all instructions from supervisors regarding task assignments.
- Ensure all logistics operations are performed in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting, up to 50-75 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and balance.
- Understanding of logistics principles.
