Become a key member of our logistics team as a Fulfillment Associate in Richmond, Virginia. This role is at the heart of our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. You will work with a variety of products, utilizing warehouse equipment and systems to manage inventory and process orders swiftly. Accuracy in picking items and a strong understanding of order fulfillment workflows are essential. You will be responsible for maintaining high levels of productivity while adhering to all company policies and safety guidelines. This includes the proper use of PPE and safe operation of equipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and labeling.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information.
- Stage packed orders for carrier pickup.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety regulations and PPE requirements.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily fulfillment targets.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order fulfillment, or similar role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work efficiently.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
