Become a key player in our fulfillment process as an Order Picker in St. Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail and speed are paramount to ensuring timely shipments and customer satisfaction. You will utilize RF scanners or pick lists to locate and gather items, ensuring the correct products and quantities are selected. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work productively in a fast-paced logistics environment. Safety is a critical component of this role; adherence to all safety guidelines and the correct use of PPE is mandatory. Regular lifting and movement of goods will be part of your daily duties.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Ensure correct items and quantities are picked for each order.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to supervisors.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Contribute to team goals and maintain high productivity levels.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. Previous order picking or warehouse experience is highly preferred. Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and RF scanner signals. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Must be able to perform tasks involving consistent lifting of items up to 40 lbs. Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the critical importance of PPE in a logistics setting.
