We're hiring a Material Handler for our bustling warehouse in Tampa, Florida! This vital role supports the entire logistics chain by ensuring materials are moved efficiently and safely. You'll be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and organizing inventory within the facility. Your commitment to safety, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. This position requires individuals who are physically capable of frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs, possess good manual dexterity, and have a strong awareness of their surroundings. We're looking for reliable, motivated individuals who thrive in a team environment and understand the importance of accuracy in a warehouse setting. Previous experience in a material handling or similar warehouse role is preferred. You'll play a key part in maintaining the flow of goods, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Transport materials within the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated locations.
- Assist with order picking and packing as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
