Our Las Vegas, Nevada facility is seeking a diligent Receiving Clerk to manage the inflow of goods. This position is critical for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that all incoming shipments are processed efficiently and correctly. You will be responsible for unloading deliveries, verifying contents, inspecting for damages, and documenting all receiving activities. A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to operational accuracy are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming freight from various carriers.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices, noting any discrepancies or damages.
- Accurately enter receiving data into the warehouse management system (WMS) or other designated tracking tools.
- Tag and label inventory items appropriately for identification and tracking within the warehouse.
- Report any shipping errors, damages, or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area, following all company Safety policies and ensuring correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
