Embark on an exciting career in warehouse operations as an Order Picker in Colorado Springs, Colorado! We are looking for motivated individuals to join our fast-paced fulfillment center. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work quickly and accurately, and a strong understanding of warehouse layouts. You will be an essential part of our logistics chain, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. The ideal candidate is reliable, has a positive attitude, and is comfortable working in a dynamic warehouse environment. You will be expected to meet performance targets for picking speed and accuracy. This role involves standing, walking, and reaching for extended periods. A commitment to following all company policies and procedures, especially those related to Safety , is paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack selected items securely for shipment.
- Operate hand trucks or pallet jacks to move goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Wear appropriate PPE as required.
- Meet or exceed daily picking quotas and accuracy standards.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as restocking or cycle counting.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics operations.
This position requires frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs and continuous movement throughout the warehouse. A strong work ethic and a commitment to safety are essential.
