Join our fast-paced warehouse environment in Kansas City, Missouri, as a Picker/Packer! This essential role in our logistics network ensures that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. As a Picker/Packer, your primary responsibilities will involve accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets and then meticulously packing these items for shipment. This requires a keen eye for detail, speed, and efficiency. You will be expected to work with various picking technologies, such as scanners, to ensure order accuracy. Maintaining a clean and organized workstation is also a key part of the role, contributing to overall warehouse productivity and Safety. We are committed to providing a secure work environment, and all employees are required to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all established safety guidelines. This position requires moderate physical exertion, including frequent Lifting of boxes and items, so familiarity with proper Lifting techniques is important. The successful candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to meeting daily targets within our demanding logistics operations. Responsibilities include:
- Reading pick lists and order forms accurately.
- Using scanners or other devices to locate and retrieve products.
- Ensuring the correct quantity and type of items are picked.
- Packing items carefully into appropriate shipping containers.
- Applying shipping labels and preparing packages for dispatch.
- Conducting quality checks to ensure order accuracy.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Collaborating with other team members to meet fulfillment goals.
