This role is fundamental to our supply chain efficiency, ensuring that products are received, stored, and prepared for shipment accurately and safely. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to transport goods, as well as loading and unloading delivery vehicles. A strong emphasis is placed on workplace safety, requiring adherence to all guidelines and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting and moving of inventory. We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork and clear communication are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Prepare materials for shipping, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Use required PPE correctly and consistently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Support the overall logistics process through effective material handling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a material handler or warehouse role preferred.
- Certified forklift operator or willingness to become certified.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety best practices.
- Commitment to wearing appropriate PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory management.
